Camping on the Jordan river

A couple of weekends ago we returned to our favorite camping spot. For the 04th time (or maybe the third) daddy made me stand in the same spot for a photo. Previous photos here and here.

My friend Salim and I, of course, were in charge. We presided over our subjects from our open-air throne room:

While our intention was to rule as benevolent monarchs, our subjects (uncle Peter, Munis and Nesar included) insisted that it was an "autonomous collective". Peasants!

We trolled the nearby lake for proof of our sovereign right to rule but came up empty.

In fact the only sword-wielding nymph we found was mommy:

After a long day of passing edicts and jumping on the bed I was beat! Salim stood guard.

p.s. Uncle Peter took another photo of me here.
